Content is not provided with each wallpaper but if a developer want to furnish extra information for the same wallpaper then it is also supported. Since the theme is not generating any extra image size for serving images, you can use any type of hosting.
Its your choice either go with a theme with premium feature that is not heavy on server or choose anything else. I am developer of an array of wallpaper themes and i do understand what is wrong with my other Wallpaper themes.
